Six Star is a registered social welfare organization operating in the Taldangra, Simlapal, and Onda blocks of Bankura district and in the Purulia II block of Purulia district, West Bengal. The organization is committed to the welfare and holistic development of underprivileged and marginalized communities in these rural areas.
Guided by the Sustainable Development Goals, Six Star emphasizes Good Health and Wellbeing, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Life on Land. Through health camps, awareness campaigns, and access to basic health services, the organization aims to promote healthier lives and better well-being for children, women, and vulnerable groups. In education, Six Star supports children’s learning, remedial education, and school readiness to ensure every child has access to quality education and reduces the risk of dropping out.
